For the first (back2basics) Tuesday of next month we will be continuing on our way through the online Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation course offered by IMC. This online course is supplemented with written material, exercises, and reflections for bringing the practice into daily life. The course is not live, so it can be done any time during the day.

This week we will be moving on to Week 3: Emotions.

The schedule is:

6:00 – 6:30 sitting
6:30 – 7:15 discussion
7:15 – 7:30 sitting

The sitting takes place at BIBS.

The Great Way is not difficult; it simply avoids picking and choosing;

We have moved the half-day sitting to the first Saturday of each month so the next half-day will be on February 6th.

And, once again, another third Tuesday comes around so next week we will be sitting, walking and sitting – the evening will be silent. No discussion is planned, no reading required.

The schedule is:

6:00 – 6:30 sitting
6:30 – 7:00 walking
7:00 – 7:30 sitting

We meet at BIBS.

This Saturday, January 9th, we will be having our regular half-day sitting from 9am to 12:30pm, alternating 30 minute periods of sitting and walking. Please come for whichever part of the morning you can manage.
