We have two events in the next week. On Saturday, we are sitting and walking all morning: 9am to 12:30pm – alternating 30 minute periods. Come for some or all of the morning.
And then a few days later for our evening meeting, we will be discussing conflict and how we practice with it – here is the email that I sent out.
During our discussion of Mindfulness of Emotions last week, several people mentioned how much difficulty they were having with the news, particularly the coverage of the current Presidential race. So, as I have an interest in conflict resolution and nobody has made any other suggestions, I propose that we spend the next week studying Mindfulness of Conflict. Let’s pay attention to how practice can inform our relationship with the people and things in our life that aren’t behaving correctly 😉 From the closest to us to the people we don’t know, how do we use our practice to help us mediate our relationships and what happens when we forget our good intentions…
