The week of April 1st

We have three events in the next week. On Saturday, we are sitting and walking all morning: 9am to 12:30pm – alternating 30 minute periods. Come for some or all of the morning.

And then a few days later for our Tuesday evening meeting, we will continue our first of the month Back to Basics series with a look at the second factor of the Eightfold Path, Right Intention. The schedule is:

6:00 – 6:30 sitting
6:30 – 7:15 discussion
7:15 – 7:30 sitting

On Friday, April 7, from 9am to 4pm there is a full day of sitting and walking meditation with the same format of alternating periods of sitting and walking meditation as the Saturday half-day sittings. The day will also include periods of guided meditation and opportunities for private practice discussions for those interested.

Sitting in January

We will be having a couple of extended sittings at BIBS this month:

Saturday, January 7th, we will have our regular extended sitting which as a bonus will be extended until 4:00pm.

Friday, January 20th, there will be an all day sitting which will include alternating periods of sitting and walking meditation, guided instructions and a dharma talk.

You are welcome to come to some or all of these day-long sits.

And, of course, there will be our regular Tuesday evening meetings at BIBS when the schedule is:

6:00 – 6:30 sitting
6:30 – 7:15 discussion
7:15 – 7:30 sitting

Saturday, August 23rd

We will be having a half-day sitting, and the tentative schedule is below. You can join us for all, or part, of this time, but if you arrive after 9am please try to arrive while we’re doing the walking.
